We had a big welcome back for Clint Saunders, Photography Instructor at Dakota College Bottineau, and his merry band of student photographers, who came armed with all sorts of equipment and imagination, determined to make the most of Ireland’s beautiful landscapes and seascapes. We had beautiful Fall weather, and some spectacular September sunrises and sunsets to keep our group very happy indeed.
Each day brought different challenges- we spend a day photographing food as part of the Bundoran Food Festival, and thanks to local photographer Megan Gallagher for her tuition and guidance. We did a lot of roaming around the Northwest, including a tour of castles, including Hamilton Castle, Kilbarron Castle, Castle Caldwell, Donegal Castle and Parkes Castle! No photos that this blogger here can provide will do this program justice- the students have returned home and are currently editing and preparing a ‘best of’ gallery, which we will link up to this post when it is finalized. We have already agreed on dates for 2020, and this is a program that any amateur photographer may join – so if you’d like to join in for 2020, just click here and you can sign up!
