Women of Irish Heritage (WOIH) march in Bundoran Parade March 2018

It was three years ago since the Women of Irish Heritage in New Jersey invited Dr. Niamh Hamill to speak at their monthly meeting, but it put in motion a plan that was deliciously delivered on March 17th 2018. The women mentioned that they’d always wanted to march in a St. Patrick’s Day parade in Ireland. Invitations were quickly issued by the Institute of Study Abroad Ireland to the women to visit Bundoran and be in the parade as our honored guests.

Not only did they come for the parade, they also enjoyed some talks and cultural outings with ISAI, and a wonderful sing-song in the Atlantic Apartotel to end the vacation.
