Spring Break for Arizona and Michigan! March 9-20 2018

What a week we had with our friends from Jackson College Michigan, Central Arizona College and Pima Community College! We welcomed back the awesome Becky Roberts and the Jackson Crew for the 5th Ireland visit, and to join them we had CAC on their second annual visit, and Pima CC for their first. Big thanks to Tatiana Keeling from CAC and Dianna Repp from Pima who were the faculty leaders.

It’s hard to say which days were the best, because we had so many. Everyone loved our first day visit to the Fairy Bridges, but our next day at the O’Donnell Castle was also very special. And if St. Patrick’s Day was a very celebratory day, then our visit with Tom Kelly to the Derry Bogside Murals was very emotional and affected many of the students profoundly.

The week flew by for Jackson, and we were all sad to see them leave, the smart Arizonans stayed on for an extra few days and were rewarded by sunshine in Dublin and a visit to the Epic museum. It was a great experience to host three community colleges over March 9-20, here are some photos to enjoy!
