8th September 2022
A massive Céad Míle Fáilte to our newest arrivals, from  The Resiliency Institute & College of DuPage – this program is all about sustainability,  landscapes, environment & we began  at National Botanic Gardens – Dublin – a big shout out too to Tolka House Pub Dublin who supplied a fab carvery lunch & were so sound.. Next day we were off to Cavan Burren Park -Niamh & John guided around the sites, and instructor Jody led a great session in Forest Bathing, which relaxed us all. Next day, we had a visit to Knocknarea Farm, followed by a climb up Knocknarea and some coffees in Strandhill. One of the highlights of this program was a visit to Arranmore Island, followed by a stay at the beautiful  An Chuirt Hotel Dinner at Leo’s Tavern was a hoot- it was ceilí night and the best lessons were from the locals. Next day our ‘Green’ group  visited Cluain na d Tor Seaside Gardens & Nursery and enjoyed a wonderful welcome from Seamus & Deirdre – and a fantastic experience in their beautiful gardens. We also did our usual surfing lesson, our hike on Sliabh Liag Cliffs, and our visit to Donegal Castle. The group were great craic, and the mix between our photography group and this group was great! Lots of new friendships made. A big thanks to leaders Connie and Jody, and to all of the participants for a wonderful experience.
