We are proud to announce an exciting collaboration between the Institute of Study Abroad Ireland (ISAI), and the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), Athlone Campus. This partnership offers U.S. third-level students the opportunity to study in Ireland through transformative summer programs focused on hands-on learning, academic excellence, and cultural immersion.
With over two decades of experience delivering high-quality study abroad programs, ISAI brings deep expertise in experiential education, student support, and cultural programming. Together with TUS, a leader in applied learning and innovation, we provide students with unique access to cutting-edge academic resources, expert faculty, and immersive cultural experiences across Ireland.
Students can participate in carefully curated summer programs that combine academic coursework with cultural enrichment and field-based learning:
Global Perspectives on Business and Entrepreneurship
Explore international trade, innovation, and enterprise through guest speakers, academic classes, and site visits to Irish startups, SMEs, and multinationals such as DPD, Mersus Technologies, and the Guinness Enterprise Centre.
Learn hands-on from expert chefs and artisans with culinary classes, demonstrations, and tastings in iconic locations such as Ashford Castle, Bon Chocolatiers, and Galway City’s food markets.
Each program includes cultural excursions, practical projects, and networking opportunities designed to deepen student learning and engagement.

Our programs take place across both our TUS Athlone campus, and our Donegal campus. In the heart of Ireland, TUS Athlone offers students access to industry-grade academic facilities—cutting-edge lecture theatres, hands-on training kitchens, fully equipped business innovation hubs and collaborative laboratories—under the guidance of expert faculty and visiting professionals. On the rugged Wild Atlantic Way in Bundoran, the ISAI campus complements this with modern apartments and teaching spaces just minutes from world-class surf breaks, Tullan Strand, and the historic Main Street, where students balance workshops on Irish culture with coastal hikes, island excursions, and traditional music sessions.
