Postsecondary International Network Leadership Summit

PROGRAM WILL BEGIN Sept 12 & ENDS Sept 18 – Depart USA Sept 11, and return to USA Sept 18

The Institute of Study Abroad Ireland has successfully developed long-term partnerships with many higher education institutions, and have provided online education about Ireland available to the world. ISAI partners with PIN in September 2026 for a professional development opportunity for senior administrators interested in international education and lessons learned from significant higher education and cultural transformations of the past and present.

The objectives of the program are:

  • Strengthen higher education enthusiasm and option for internationalization, including online courses and study travel

  • Equip senior administrators with insights and strategies from Ireland’s transformation from Institutes of Technology to Technological Universities, including governance, leadership and partnerships

  • Creating collaborative partnerships with other institutions with shared best practices among PIN members

  • Addressing challenges of internationalizing college curriculum

This program will be very active with a combination of workshops, classroom, field trips and seminars at multiple locations, primarily Dublin City, County Donegal and site visits to Technological Universities.  The itinerary is subject to change, as the focus will be adapted to suit the required outcomes of the PIN attendees.
