Arrive Dublin Airport. Transfer to 4* Dublin Hotel


2pm Orientation Meeting

3pm Guided walking tour of Historic Dublin City

6pm Welcome reception & dinner for students & Faculty at Club Na Muinteoiri.
Day 3

 Breakfast 7:30-9.30am

10am check out & depart for Donegal

Travel to Donegal via   Lough Crew Cairn – lunch at Nelly’s Kitchen


Continue to Donegal – Arrive Donegal Campus. Check into Student Apartments. Orientation  /Icebreakers

9am Lecture 1: ‘From a Kingdom to a Colony’

10am Guided visit to Donegal Town, Donegal Friary & Donegal Castle for guided tour. 6pm Evening Meal

7.30pm Assignment Time/Symposium Prep

9am Lecture 2: ‘From Colony to Catastrophe’

10:30 am Guided visit to local Famine sites /Sliabh Liag if weather permits  6pm Evening Meal
